How else can you use focaccia bread?

  • make french toast sticks (recipe here, but I used cinnamon rolls that day)
  • use half a slice to wrap around a hot dog
  • make savory garlic toast sticks
  • for bread pudding
  • as a pizza crust
  • for panini sandwiches
  • for cold entrees, otherwise known as sandwiches

After you’ve enjoyed focaccia in so many different ways, you’ll wonder why people make such a fuss about “sandwich bread.” Focaccia is not only more fun, it’s a more versatile performer than other breads. It’s the Chris Isaak of the bread world.

If you’d like to learn how to make gluten free focaccia bread, sign up for a hands-on class at Kitchen Conservatory in Clayton.  The next bread class is Sunday, October 2, 2011.  Classes fill quickly, so don’t delay in signing up.

Special thanks to rockstar photographer Corey Woodruff for the pics!
